Japanese Beautiful Model

2002 WRX - Will American body parts fit on a Japanese version of this year ?

Someone ran into the back of me, I have a japanese model ... the dealership of course has us parts. Will I be able to use a us bumper/trunk/brakelight ? or do I have to order them from Japan?

1. They are identical on the outside.
2. Japan is typically a year ahead on body type changes. So you have the same body style. If you had the 2001 JDM model, you would need 2002 parts from the US model. Tail lights and badging will be slightly different, but the USDM ones will work fine. Just make sure you replace both or it will look funny. :) Bumper beam might be different, too, but the USDM parts will bolt right in.
