Japanese Beautiful Model

suggestions for japanese cars?

i'm getting my license soon and so im searching for a car. my dad told me the Japanese are the most reliable. i was wondering if there was any certain Japanese models/brands that would be good as my first car. i'm also not planning on spending more than $9,000. thanks!

  1. As much as I don't want to say it. The forever running cars like civics and corollas are great. I also know that nissans have been known to do well. I have a 18 yr old honda with 180,XXX miles on it. yeah it does have its problems for being almost 20 years old, but it is still running. I would say that honda would be your best bet. IMO
  2. a used civic or accord if u wanna go with a honda or a corolla or camry if u wanna go with a toyota, all these cars are reliable and are gr8 on gas,
  3. Most reliable ni order: Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Nissan. Stay away from Mitsubishi.
  4. If you want one that's semi-luxurious, look into a 1997-2001 Lexus ES300. It's basically a Camry with better: body / interior / features. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_ES#Third_generation_.281997-2001.29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:3rd_Lexus_ES300.jpg http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/jc/97-01es300.htm http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1997-to-2001-lexus-es-300-1.htm You should be able to find a really clean one with decent (60-80k) miles for $9,000. If maintenance is kept up it will run 200k without a hitch.
  5. toyota corolla or honda civic. Both cars are pretty reliable and the insurance is cheaper than most other cars.
  6. Suggestions: burn and smash them up.
  7. Japanese cars are nice and reliable however your insurance will be pretty high. The have the highest theft rating. I bought a for focus as my first car. Have fun driving soon
