Do japanese pvc toy models have a very strong paint smell when they are opened? how long does it last?

the smell was so strong i could not stay in the room

1. MOST TOYS ACTUALLY SPECIALLY IF CONTAINED IN A BOX HAVE THAT KIND OF SMELL. IT CAN LAST FOR A LONG TIME IF YOU KEEP THEM IN THE BOX. BUT IF EXPOSED, IT GOES AWAY AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS.
2. It can depend on the atmosphere. If you spray the toys with I think it was lysol it will eat the coating that gives off the smell. It will not make the toy look any different and it won't damage it.
