What is the difference between a fashion (runway) model and a glamour model?

- Photoshop! --- Edit: everyone...the truth hurts, but photoshop is the diff.
- fashion model = clothes gamour model = makeup. =]
- A runway model is essentially a high-priced clothes hanger. Runway modeling is all about the clothes. A glamour model is more about makeup, hair, etc.
- Fashion runway models need to be tall, thin and usually small chested. They also keep their clothes on unless they are doing a shoot for a famous designer, photographer or get a multimillion dollar contract for Victorias Secret A glamour model can be any height and needs to have a large chest - real or fake (but normally fake). She also may have lip injections and wears a different sort of makeup - often very "drag" looking with heavily outlined lips in a darker shade than the lipstick, lots of gloss, heavy eyeliner and mascara and dark shadow in the crease with a white shadow on the browbone. She is also usually a bit orange from the overuse of fake tanners. A glamour model will also bare all in tabloid newspapers, lads mags, and elsewhere. I don't think anyone has ever gone from being a glamour model to being a high fashion model
