Andrew sachs was meant to be there for an interview and it would not have happened if he had kept to his agreement. 3 THEY ARE COMEDIANS!!! The reason people listen to comedians such as Ross and Brand is to be shocked. How boring would comedy be if people just played it safe all the time? 4. Andrew sachs granddaughter actually did sleep with Russell so it isn't defamation of character. 5. His granddaughter is a wannabe GLAMOUR MODEL!! cant really say he'd be overly shocked he's seen her with her baps out so often!! 6. Russell sleeping with her was revealed by david baddiel or someone similar a few weeks ago when he revealed he went over to Russell's house and she was there. 7. I have heard both comedians say and do worse that there wasn't such a fuss over. 8. There was only two complaints when the show was aired. all the rest came after the daily mirror ran their story on it.... just people who hadn't even heard it jumping on the band wagon!! I think its a mountain out of a mole hill and the fact 2 mens careers are being threatened is ridiculous!!! Opinions?? 1. No. Edit: As in no, I won't sign your petition It is getting a bit silly but they had no right to behave that way. How would you like it if someone not only rung your family and said outrageous, hurtful and rude comments but also broadcast it? So what if she's a glamour model, that doesn't give people the right to humiliate her. They behaved like bullies. Let's face it I doubt it'll do their careers any real harm and it's not as if they'll be down the soup kitchen in the morning.

12. hear hear to the first three answers, Ross and Brand are a pair of muppets, to be honest i couldnt care less about the joke but both of them are the most unfunny idiotic pair of waste of space twats i have ever listened to or watched, I will not sign that petition I hope ross goes as well, 16 million of our money on that pratt? And as for Brand blimey strange how we revere crack and skag heads in this day and age, next you will be telling me Winehouse and Docherty are just misunderstood and their music is really good and we should love them really, open your eyes and smell the coffee these sorts of people are whats wrong with the world today, I hope the next needle they stick in their veins is the one that does them in edit - No it isnt their job to shock, its their job to provide entertainment, and are you telling me that (or any of their so called comedy) is entertainment?
13. They overstepped the mark from being cutting edge 'comedians' (and with Brand I use that term very loosely) to insulting an elderly man just for a few cheap laughs. To blame the incident on Andrew Sachs no-show for the interview (your point #2) leaves me speechless. What went on between Brand and Miss Baillie was private and should have remained so - the fact that Brand sees it as OK to broadcast it on the radio speaks volumes about the type of man he is. This whole incident has exposed the sort of level to which society has descended where we are being served puerile drivel wrapped up as 'entertainment'. The BBC has played a very large part in this persistent dumbing down of television. The reaction of the Great Unwashed has more to do with the fact that we are fed up of 'TV for the Braindead' Paying £8 million a year for the dubious talents of 'Wossy' might also have something to do with it as well...
