Why are man so crazy about photos?

My friend was meeting a man in a let's -meet - and -see -what - will -happen way. I joined them in a cafe and brought my new photos with me (I do some modelling). In a second the man forgot her, forgot me, and started flick through the photos, scrutinising them and staring at them. We were left to ourselves. And since then I noticed that men are crazy about photos. They are constantly begging for photos in high pitched whining voices, and even if you give/show them some, they just ask for more! My friend once showed a man a hundred of hers, to see when he would stop begging for the photos... He asked for more! I was taught that people found other people's photos absolutely boring, so it's quite a revelation for me! I am talking about decent, normal photos, just in different environment and different clothing. Why, he had two live girls to "undress mentally" and he preferred photos?

3. I've never noticed this. I'm a pro photographer and do all types of photo shoots. It's usually the men who barely look at the photos; unless they're very provocative, that is! So this sounds pretty strange to me.
