i need tips on what's best for men's hair and makeup on a photoshoot?

...although i know how to do my own makeup, i'm not really a makeup artist :p i work part time at a photo studio and my boss' contacts for the makeup artists aren't available for tomorrow, i'm the one he asked me to do it for the models. i can do hair and makeup for girls but not sure what to do with men's :s please give me some tips what's best to do for men's hair and makeup. thanks!

1. Just use gel or hair polish on your hair. DO NOT PUT ANY FOUNDATION! It looks gay for guys. Just use loose powder. THAT'S IT!
