I'm all for encouraging your kids, so as long as she is happy, I would be happy. However, the boob job is a little extreme. If it was something my daughter really wanted to pursue, I would insist on her saving up for this endeavor for herself. By the time she saves enough money, she should be old enough to make the decision-- 15 is far too young to be undergoing such drastic measures! Just the same, I would be happy to see her pursuing her dream.

No I would not, and I definitely wouldn't go to the extremes of this mother - letting her dye her hair at ten, letting her use sun beds every day and then saving up for a boob job! Whose ambition is this the girl's or the mum's? Ultimately I can't stop my daughter from doing what she chooses when she gets to a certain age, but it's definitely not something I'd encourage.
Sorry to say but I think glamour models look cheap specially those who are known to have been surgically modified.

My first thought on reading your question was that if my daughter wanted to model clothes, like say Kate Moss, then great. When I saw the article and the people involved I realised what a 'glamour' model is and I thought 'this is sick'. So the answer is, NO WAY.

I wouldn't mind her wanting to become a glamour model if I felt she was likely to make it I would support that and make sure she only went to the top agencies to be represented - if they wouldn't take her I wouldnt encourage it - its cut throat business and there are some really sleazy outfits out there. As for fake boobs they are not required - on Page 3 in fact they are still banned as far as I am aware. I would suggest she left it until she was at least 21 as boobs can increase in late teens anyway. EDIT: Just looked at her - she is no way close to being a top glamour model. Her face is average and so is her body - sorry but that is just the truth - attractive girl but not professionally so - that is completely different. So I would say to her - pass your exams and A levels then I will consider getting you a boob job - by then she will have grown out of it probably.....and have some exams instead so she could go to uni
My heart sinks like a stone every time I hear a young girl say Jordan is her "idol". How have we got to the point where a woman who has false boobs, false hair, false nails, false teeth and a false tan along with botox, liposuction and rhinoplasty is the "idol" of young girls. What exactly is Jordan´s "talent" that we should all admire? An addiction to anaesthetic? Apart from recounting every detail of her life in books, mags and television programmes, what does she do? If my daughter grew up to want to emulate that I would feel that I had failed as a mother because she wouldn´t have a clue about the type of values I had tried to instill in her. And as for the girl in the article , well the fact of the matter is she just isn´t particularly pretty either. I can see her ending up on one of those satellite channels where girls wave their bum and bits at the camera waiting for people to phone up for a ***k.
No. I would not want to put my baby through a non-emergency operation let alone the worry of ( serious ) allergic reaction to implants, the life-long up-keep & replacing them every 3-5 years, dependant on tolerance. if this womans' daughter can't make with out a boob job perhaps they should consider a different career path for her!
