Japanese Beautiful Model

How do our minds distinguish between something that is cute (eg a baby) to somethin that is 'hot' (eg a model)?

Stimuli information from the environment enter your retina go to your optic tract and enter your occipital lobe i.e. visual cortex, then from there it will send the information to your association cortex, where past information is stored, and then the association cortex may send a signal to your motor cortex for you to smile.
